Refund policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

The short version

No refunds for change of mind. Your minute is claimed and your message published straight away, so there is nothing to return. Full refund if we can't publish it. If your message doesn't pass review, or anything on our side fails, you get all your money back and the minute goes back on sale.

Why change-of-mind refunds aren't offered

What you buy is delivered immediately and permanently: the moment payment clears, that minute is taken off sale, your message goes into the public record, and it appears on the clock. There is no undelivered thing to cancel. Refunding it would mean removing a published message and returning a minute someone else could have had in the meantime.

You see exactly what you are buying before you pay. Your message is checked and previewed first, and you are never charged for a message we would go on to refuse.

When we refund in full

In each case the refund is for the full amount, back to the original payment method, and the minute returns to general sale.

How to ask for one

Email hello@onthisminute.com with the minute (for example 03-14 09:26) and the email address you paid with. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued immediately and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Corrections and removal

We can't edit a published message for you — it's a permanent public record and editing it would make the record meaningless. If you made a typo, email us: we can't promise a change, but we'd rather hear about it than not.

We will remove a message where we're legally required to, or where it turns out to identify or endanger someone. Removal is not a refund, and because the archive is mirrored publicly, we cannot guarantee removal from copies that already exist elsewhere. See the terms.

Card disputes

If you think something's wrong, please email us before contacting your bank — it's faster, and we can usually fix it the same day. If you do file a dispute, we'll respond with our records of the purchase, including the terms you agreed to at checkout.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces rights you have by law. This policy covers change of mind; it does not limit your rights if something is faulty or not as described.
